The Seamaster became one of Omega’s defining sports watches during the 1990s and 2000s, with its distinctive wave pattern dial, blue aluminium bezel and five link bracelet becoming instantly recognisable.
This 36mm example offers the same familiar Seamaster formula in a more restrained proportion. The blue wave dial catches the light beautifully, while the matching blue diving bezel and stainless steel bracelet give it the unmistakable character of the collection.
The 2222.80 is particularly appealing today. Compact enough to feel elegant, but still unmistakably a proper Seamaster, it works equally well as an everyday watch or as a slightly more understated take on the classic Omega dive watch design.
