Ap has bit of a reputation for being a little outlandish. But my word, this one is bite the back of your hand beautiful. The 39mm case is a perfect size, slides nicely under the cuff. The gold case and caramel brown alligator strap goes very nicely too. Designed by famous swiss watch designer Gerald Genta in the 70’s who subsequently is responsible for the looks of watches like the Omega bond seamaster, Patek nautilus, Iwc ingenieur and this Audemars royal oak. The guy had a thing for octagonal bezels. I bet if someone asked him to draw a circle, he’d use a ruler. This one here was purchased new in November 2012 and is still under factory warranty. US Retail is over $33,000.
