Flawless, As Brand New!
This is the latest Extreme World Chronograph from Jaeger. Its special in many ways but chief among which is that its by far one of the most hard core, complex and super rugged chronographs on the market. This is the carbon dial version that was released at the SIHH watch show in 2010, made of steel/titanium the watch differs slightly from the standard EWC version. It has a inner bezel ring that is smaller to improve overall proportions along with the addition of a carbon dial. The watch is limited to 500pcs and now long sold out. It’s filled with technology and finesse. Each watch is tested for 1000 hours and is comprised of a total of 279 parts. It has a very long power reserve of 72 hours and features a patented shock absorber system that protects the brand new automatic chronograph movement from vibrations and shocks in the harshest of climates. It also has a quick strap release button under the case for quick strap changes. Not that you’d want to as it is currently on a custom optional extra black alligator strap with red stitching that matches the red dial accents beautifully. Another feature includes patented half turn collars on the pushers and crown, each collar has black indicating arrows which indicates the crown is non-secure/non-water resistant. When the collar is turned to the secure position it compresses a gasket that ensures water resistance. There are not many other watches out there that are so well built yet so feature packed at the same time, not to mention from one of the best names in the biz.
