My first ever watch watch was a bond auto seamaster blue. However the only reason i didn’t buy the chrono was the price. It was a whopping $1,500 more then the standard version. I remember staring into shopfronts while wearing my 2531 bond wishing i had forked out the extra for the chrono. As a result because the chrono was a more expensive watch, allot less were sold then its standard non chrono counterpart. Today on the second hand market the two are very similar in price. The Omega Seamaster 2599.8000 Chronograph is a allot more bang for your buck and lets face it, a little bit rarer and hence a little bit more special, as long as you find one in good nick. This one is in insanely good condition. In fact its the best one ive seen condition wise ever. The bezel insert is unharmed and the bezel itself is super sharp and originally factory finished. Perfect case size for a chronograph in my opinion and i love the trade mark water resistant pushers that can be activated under water.
