There are many reasons why I love this watch. We once had a solid gold sub in the window a few months back, it has a very large and in charge way about it with its punchy big blue dial. Personally I think that 18k gold suits the Daytona better both from an aesthetic and design perspective. The black diamond dial you d think would be a lot more flamboyant but its appeal is a little more subtle than that. It s a very dressy watch, the black dial is very discrete and low key but from certain angles you catch a glimpse of the diamond markers that make it rather special. Because the Daytona has a flat case back it sits flush against the wrist making it very comfortable especially with the added weight of the gold. This one here has literally never been worn. We had to take the stickers of it to photograph it properly. It has the latest easy link comfort adjustment spring loaded clasp and new blue chronomalite luminescence on the hands. Still under factory warranty it comes with everything you d expect when buying the watch new. Booklets swing tags, warranty cards and all boxes.
