Flawless Condition.

Big Pilot's of any description don’t last long. However this one here is extra special. Since its release in the early 2000’s the big pilot has taken on many cosmetic design changes in its current form mainly to the dial. For those who don’t know this is the first ever version of the big pilot since its genesis which many consider to be the first and the best. I share this view for many reasons. It has subtle differences that haven't been repeated in current models that make it so collectable. It's all in the dial. It has a gorgeous rail design where all indexes are connected, also the date aperture has a bronze flange with white date wheel. One fundamental which has not been repeated on the newer models is the "9" on the dial. On current models it has been replaced by an index. There is something about the 9’ that helps balance the power reserve dial on the opposite side. In our humble opinion its the nicest big pilot ever made.

This one has full box and papers and has recently been fully serviced by iwc in Germany in 2012.
