Often i get customers initially thinking that the explorer 1 is rather on the small side. Don't let the 39mm case size deter you from considering this watch. When compared to a submariner lets say. It's a full 1mm smaller but because of the absence of a rotating bezel the explorer's dial stretches out further to the rim of its steel bezel to give of the illusion of a much larger watch by comparison. The explorer sits flush against the wrist which also makes it appear larger. All this factored in the size and simplicity of the new explorer allows it become the faultless dress/sport watch that it is.
